Booth staff apparel
Apparel is the slowest-moving and most predictable line, and it is the easiest to get wrong in a specific way: ordering far too much of one size. Staff apparel typically serves a fixed population that changes by a handful of people a year, so a first run sized from the current headcount plus ten per cent covers the programme for two to three cycles. Replenishment is not about volume but about replacement, since the real loss is size attrition as the team changes. Count the small and large sizes separately from the rest. Two garments in size XXL in a cupboard will still be in that cupboard in a year, while four garments in size M will be gone in a month. Where a company issues apparel to a sales team that turns over, hold a small reserve of core sizes and reprint only the reserve rather than the whole set.
