Corporate merch and delivery logistics for Meridian Expo Centre
Meridian Expo Centre sits on the western edge of the Yerevan–Artashat corridor, broadly a 20-minute drive south-west of central Yerevan and within reach of Zvartnots International Airport on the M5 plus a short two-lane turn; this slightly out-of-centre position is exactly why the venue is attractive for trade-show work, because traffic into the car park is unconstrained by the central-city congestion that affects most bank and embassy venues, and exhibitors can drop a full truck, offload into a wide loading bay and park a 7.5-tonne lorry in the front yard while the build is in progress. Inside, the main hall runs roughly 4,000 to 5,000 square metres of clear-span space with a slab floor rated for forklift traffic, a 7-to-9-metre ceiling height that allows modular booth builds and hanging signage, and a separate bank of meeting rooms for VIP buyer meetings, side seminars and press conferences; smaller halls on the lower level handle each at roughly 600 square metres, suitable for pavilion-style festivals and consumer-facing fairs. Meridian's calendar is dominated by industrial trade fairs, technology and consumer electronics exhibitions, food and agriculture expos, education fairs, real-estate expos, regional tourism shows and small-to-mid-size sports expos, with annual occupancy that fills much of the available calendar; many of those programmes run two to four days, which is materially longer than a typical one-day corporate conference, so the merch brief needs multi-day replenishment built in. Same-day courier into the venue is feasible from the central Yerevan production hub in roughly 60 to 90 minutes, but for multi-day builds the practical pattern is a first consolidated delivery one day before build starts, then a replenishment cycle every two days for top-up stock; the venue has its own gate-control list, so every incoming courier has to be pre-named and the event organiser's contact phone has to be reachable on dispatch. Lighting inside the main hall is functional rather than display-grade, so branded banners work best in bright high-saturation inks rather than fine dark-gradient prints, and modular booth panels printed on foam-core or fabric face-out survive the inevitable handling better than mounted-back prints. The expo office bills in Armenian dram and accepts bank transfer, ArCa, Idram, Visa, Mastercard and wire; delegate payments at show cash desks convert AMD at the on-site bank rate, with USD and EUR cash readily accepted on the gate.
