Employee apparel
Apparel is the most visible object in a rebrand and the most expensive line item. The supplier's lead time on apparel is four to eight weeks for the new cycle, against a workforce headcount, an existing size grid and a small set of replacement items per employee per category. The rebrand is the moment to refresh the apparel range, but only where the existing range warrants it; wholesale replacement of a recently issued uniform is wasteful. The supplier's role is to read the current uniform cycle, identify items at the natural end of life and propose a rebrand-driven refresh on those items only, with the remainder of the workforce carrying the new identity through accessories and signage rather than new garments.
