Scheduled office delivery
The default route for internal corporate merchandise: a named weekday, an agreed window, one nominated address, one nominated contact. The goods arrive manifested and signed for, and the consolidation note at the top of the manifest tells the recipient which carton contains which product line, because a buyer receiving forty cartons of mixed apparel will not open every carton at the desk. The weak point is not the transport but the receipt. If reception is unattended at the delivery window, the consignment sits in a corridor, and the organisation discovers a distribution failure several days later. A successful office delivery therefore depends on two commitments from the buyer side: a person who can sign at the window, and a place where the cartons can be held until the team collects them.
