Quality FAQ

Long-form FAQ — quality faq: 8 verified Q&A entries for B2B procurement teams.

1. What AQL level do you inspect at?

Default is AQL 2.5 (per ISO 2859-1) for general consumer items. We can step to AQL 1.0 for premium executive gifts or food-contact items, and AQL 4.0 for very-high-volume promotional items where unit value is below $1.50.

2. Do you do third-party inspection?

Yes. We work with SGS, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas. The buyer can engage them directly or we can arrange and pass cost through. Typical third-party inspection is $200-450 per inspection day.

3. What's your defect rate?

Internal QC catches 99.6%+ of defects before shipment. Field defect rate (after customer receives goods) averages 0.4% across 2024-2025; we replace or refund 100% of confirmed defects within 7 days of report.

4. How do you handle Pantone color matching?

We work in Pantone Solid Coated by default. ΔE ≤ 2.5 is our standard match (visually indistinguishable to most observers); ΔE ≤ 1.5 available for premium brand-critical work. We provide pre-production color samples for sign-off.

5. What if a batch doesn't pass AQL?

We rework or replace at no cost to you, with a documented root-cause analysis (corrective action plan) within 5 working days. If timeline is at risk, we offer expedited replacement air freight.

6. Do you keep production samples?

Yes. We retain 3 production samples per SKU per batch for 24 months as defect-claim reference. They're labeled with batch ID, production date, and operator initials.

7. Can we audit your factory?

Yes. We arrange virtual audits within 5 working days, on-site within 14 days. Sedex/BSCI audit reports are available on signing NDA. EcoVadis scorecard is available without NDA.

8. How do you handle sustainability claims like 'organic' or 'recycled'?

Every claim must be documented: GOTS for organic cotton, GRS for recycled polyester, FSC for paper. We don't accept claims without certificate copies. Suppliers without certs get filtered at sourcing stage.
